ISSUE 10A

(HUZZAH, WE GOT INTO DOUBLE FIGURES!)

And yes, it’s a double issue!

Murphy by Lynn White — a poem that addresses questions about identity and the perception thereof, unusual haircuts, and rolling in muddy puddles (who doesn’t love splashing in puddles?)

Interview at Happy Burger by Daniel Tarker — an interview with the cantankerous head of a mysterious and clandestine organisation grows more and more alarming by the minute.

Mackerel Swimming Through Swiss Cheese by L. N. Hunter — a poem that is basically an ode to, (or a dirge about…) rubbish. You know it makes scents.

Choices: Or, Nat Will Die Alone by Sarah Corris — a reader-inclusive, interactive tale starring a lonely, bisexual woman and a cat with a strange past.

While Watching Splash Years Ago by rp Verlaine — a poem about making a move on someone at the cinema turns into a sudden urge to make a dentist appointment.

Bluff by Matt Cantor — a newly discovered legend about Coyote becoming a LEGO teacher and deeply regretting it. The Crocodile sympathises with the kid who likes green…

Burning Bright by D. J. Tyrer — a parody of and response to the poem “The Tyger” by William Blake.

Issue 10B will arrive in the next week or two…
